Starting Your Own Business…There Couldn’t Be A Better Time Than Now

Just the other night I saw this report on CBS’ 60 minutes. It breaks my heart to see how our system has failed so so many people. Watch this 13 minute clip and then you can finish reading this post:

The path to wealth and an easy retirement, for the last 50-60 years, was always to work for an employer, be loyal to them and they’ll be loyal to you, invest your money into a 401k…And when you retire you’ll get a nice golden watch and pension from your employer, have Social Security money coming in, and have a nice fat nest egg from your investments.

Well, we all know now how that system has worked out. Companies axed their pension plans years ago, Social Security is actually losing money and nobody younger than 50 should ever expect to see a dime of money from them, and 401k’s tanked along with the stock market and economy over the last couple years.

There is absolutely no better time than now to change your way of thinking from employee mindset, and even self-employed mindset, to the mindset of starting your own business, creating time and financial leverage in your life by investing in the right ways, and also building a team of people working for you.  There are many ways to do that now, but there is no better vehicle available today in starting your own business and creating that leverage than network marketing.

Robert Kiyosaki, famous for his Rich Dad, Poor Dad books and business/investing advice, discusses the advantages of starting your own network marketing business in his book The Business of the 21st Century. You don’t have to worry about all the normal burdens of a small business such as inventory, overhead, personnel, and can spend your time creating time and financial freedom in your life through building a team of people working for themselves, and you earning money by helping them succeed!

And by the way, you certainly don’t see people in the corporate world helping pull those workers under them up to where there at…you actually see just the opposite, you only get ahead by pushing others around you down and holding them back. In network marketing, you can only succeed, advance, and earn more money by helping those below you rise, achieve, grow, and succeed!

After watching that 60 minutes clip, it’s shocking and eye-opening to see that the current system has been shaken to its core…and we all know people all around us without jobs, without employment, but you can be the one to help them!  First, change your understanding of how to succeed in today’s economic climate, starting your own business, and then sharing that message with everyone.
